I See A Lot of White

Dojo is full of white belts lately. Still have a ways to go to catch up on my cardio efficiency. Not because of the pulmonary embolis but because the PE’s were probably present since October, 2007 and I probably only ran about 5-6 miles since late October to mid-April. After warmups, we partnered up and ran through our DM’s in random order. Did all of them OK except #19. Then we partnered up and picked 2-3 DM’s/Knife/Kempo’s. After that we went into a dragon circle surrounded by 6 others. I stuck to the basics since the belt level for the others did not allow takedowns and why do long DM’s that tires you out. I used #5, #7, #8, #9, #13, and #18

Back Almost Full Strength

I haven’t ran since end of February. Just started last Sunday and ran this afternoon. Sensei barks out to do countdowns, starting at 11. I am not doing count downs all out anymore. No point to it. I always finish first but tonight I took my time and paced equally with the person to my right. I recovered aerobically in about 2-3 minutes.
